We have reserved the Dock Street Marina for the weekend of July 12-14 for the 2013 Fairliner Rendezvous.  Please mark your calendars and try your best to join us.  We’d love to break an attendance record!

There is also the Wooden Boat Show at the Des Moines Marina the following weekend (July 20), so maybe many of us could plan to take our boats to that also.  They would love to have us, and it would be two weekends in a row to use our lovely boats.

The 2012 Fairliner Rendezvous is now just a memory of great camaraderie with our fellow Fairliner lovers, renewing old acquaintances and making new friends.  I know a lot of us picked up some good ideas for future improvements or experienced a “Why-didn’t-I think-of-that?” moment. We missed those of you who registered, but for some reason couldn’t make it when the time finally arrived.  Hopefully, this year you will be able to reserve the weekend for our get-together.  They say the third time’s a charm, so Rita & Bud, Kevin & Taunja, and Dixie are hoping to make this year our biggest rendezvous yet since it will be our third time planning it.  Thanks to all of you who jumped in and helped us last year; it was greatly appreciated.

Don’t forget, if God had wanted us to have fiberglass boats, he would have made fiberglass trees.  Enough said.
